There are 370 places to eat in Spain on my map, spread across Madrid, San Sebastián, Valencia, Bilbao, Córdoba, Dénia, Santander and Alicante. These are spots I have been to and wanted to share, with no sponsorships of any kind: if it's on the map, I liked it.
Most are restaurants for lunch and dinner, with Spanish, Basque, seafood and fish, and rice dishes, plus some tapas. For example, Bar/Restaurante El cisne azul, Cafetería Bar "Sylkar" and Narru Bar Restaurante are among the places picked out on the map.
Picked one by one by Rupo, Google Local Guide level 8. No sponsorships.
To see them all, open each city:
Madrid has 185 places on my map, more than any other area in Spain. For example, you could look at Bikini Bar & Cocktail – Rafa Zafra or Bar El Eme.
San Sebastián has 46 places on the map, many of them Basque. Berria and Alboka Restaurante are two examples from the selection.
Spanish and Basque cuisine dominate, followed by seafood and fish and rice dishes. There are also sushi bars and traditional casas de comidas.
I do, Rupo, a Google Local Guide at level 8. I don't take payment or sponsorships, so everything listed is a personal recommendation.
