If you are wondering where to eat in Alicante, my map has 6 places to choose from. They are spread across Centro, l'Eixample, the Playa de San Juan, the Mercado area and the Raval de Sant Francesc, and they all cover lunch and dinner, with rice dishes and seafood as the common thread.
For example, I would point you to Alma de Barra, Dársena, Monastrell, Restaurante Azul Playa, To-Bar and Nou Manolín. This is my own selection, not a ranking, so pick whichever suits the part of town you are in.
