I have 21 places on my map for Tel Aviv, and most of them are Israeli restaurants, aimed mainly at lunch and dinner. They are spread across the White City of Tel-Aviv, the area I have explored most calmly.
For example, Benedict, Miznon, Hummus Abu Hassan and Dallal Restaurant are places I can name, though I don't put them above the rest. They are just a sample from a map I keep adding to by eating and noting things down.

My Tel Aviv map has 21 spots, mostly Israeli restaurants for lunch or dinner. For example, Miznon, Benedict or Hummus Abu Hassan are worth exploring.
I have 20 places on the map suited to dinner, all Israeli cuisine. Some examples are Dallal Restaurant, Big Itzik or Mashya, and you can see the rest in the city list.
I do, Rupo, a Google Local Guide level 8 rather than a professional critic. None of the places on the map are sponsored: if it's on the map, I've eaten there and liked it.
