There are 182 places on my map for lunch in Madrid, and most of them serve Spanish food. They are spread mainly across Centro (47), Chamberí (39) and Salamanca (38), with others in Chamartín, Retiro and further-out areas like Tetuán, Arganzuela and Moncloa-Aravaca.
Among them you'll find casas de comidas, bars and a few Italian, Peruvian, Japanese and Mexican options. For example, Bar/Restaurante El cisne azul, Cafetería Bar "Sylkar" and Las Margaritas - Casa de Comidas are on the map, but it's just a sample, not a ranking.

I have 182 places saved in Madrid for lunch, most of them Spanish. Centro, Chamberí and Salamanca hold a good share of them.
Spanish cooking dominates, but there are also tapas and a handful of Italian, Peruvian, Japanese and Mexican spots.
I do, Rupo (@breakfastalwayswins), a Google Local Guide level 8. Nothing on the map is sponsored: if it's on there, I liked it.
